Bookings and deposits
A non-refundable £20 deposit is required to secure all new client appointments.
Deposits come off the total of the service on the day.
Appointments aren’t confirmed until your deposit is received.
Cancellations within 24 hours will forfeit the deposit and be required to pay a new one to secure a new appointment.
Cancellations and no shows
I’m sure you understand that this is my full time profession & livelihood, I have a few policies in place to protect myself from loss of income..
Last minute cancellations (within 24 hours) of the appointment will result be charged 100% of the service cost.
No shows without contact will not be tolerated and are not allowed to re book an appointment.
If you wish to reschedule your appointment for a later date, please let me know asap. Rescheduled appointments within 24 hours will be still be charged the cancellation fee (100%), however there will be a discretionary discount applied to your next appointment if rescheduled within 1 week of original appointment
Tier booking
If you’re booking in for nail art, especially silver tier and above, please send over some design ideas (if you have any) to whodidyour@nailsbab.com once your appointment is confirmed. It’s so important that I make sure I have enough time for your design, can manage your expectations and let you know an estimated cost!
Please be aware that if you book in for a higher tier, then decide on the day you would like to downgrade the tier, you will still be charged for the tier that you booked. For example, if you book in for a gold tier and decide on the day you want a lower tier or one colour, you will still be charged for the gold tier.
Prices for silver tier and above may vary, the prices stated on Booksy are the price the service starts at. Some designs fall between tiers and are priced according to time. For a more accurate cost, design ideas can be discussed prior to your appointment.
Timekeeping
I will always do my best to accommodate.. however, my diary runs off a time schedule each day, If you are running late please let me know asap so I can make sure my other clients aren’t affected.
If you’re late, your service may be shortened and you will still be charged for the original appointment booked. For example, if you book in for a gold tier and are late, we may only then have time for a lower tier or one colour, you will still be charged for the gold tier booked originally.
Over 15 minutes late may mean your appointment is cancelled and charged as a no-show.
7 day fix policy
I spend a lot of time making sure the prep and application for your nails is as perfect as possible and I'm known for manicures that last. However, if you do have any issues please message me asap for a fix
I’ll fix any issues caused by my application free of charge within 7 days of your appointment.
After 7 days, a small fee per nail applies.
Health and safety
Unfortunately I may have to refuse service if there are signs of infection on your nails, I have to do this to prevent any further discomfort & irritation.
I use a separate set of tools for each client I have in that day, all tools are fully cleaned and sterilised at the end of each day.
All surfaces are fully sanitised between clients.
I cannot offer services to anyone under 16
Out of hours appointments
Out of hours appointments can be made by request, these will incur an additional fee of £25.
Payments
Payment is due on the day of your appointment.
Cash or bank transfer are accepted forms of payment.
FAQs
Can I bring my kids?
Sorry, it’s a no on this one! i want you to be able to fully relax during your appointment, and I need to able to focus solely on your service. The environment of a nail salon is not an entertaining place for children and we find that boredom tends to lead to mischief and stressed parents.
What’s a Mystery Manicure?
exactly what it says! if you’re not fussed, book in a mystery mani and let me have full creative control. This includes colours and design theme. You will be asked at the start if there’s anything in particular you don’t like on your nails so you don’t end up with something that’s not you.
*if at any point during the service you influence the design, the service will be changed automatically and fees will apply.
How do I know what tier to book?
Prices and designs are categorised into a tier system; you can have a browse at how the tiers work via the design guide. If you’re unsure on which tier a design you like would falls into, please contact me with pictures for reference via whodidyour@nailsbab.com. It’s so important that I make sure I have enough time for your design, can manage your expectations and let you know an estimated cost!
Do you offer gift vouchers?
I do yes! please drop me an email at whodidyour@nailsbab.com to buy a voucher. Please note that gift vouchers are valid from 6 months of purchase.
What products do you use?
I’m a gel only studio and all products are vegan, non toxic and cruelty free. my colours are predominantly The Gel Bottle inc but I have many other brands in stock. I use a range of soft gel extension systems for our extension Nail oils and cuticle balms from Navy pro, NAF! Stuff & OMY etc which are available to purchase in the studio.
I do not work with acrylic, if you have this on your nails already, you will need to get it removed beforehand.
